This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through La Farfalla Design and is intended to set clear expectations regarding processing times, shipping methods, delivery areas, and the nature of preserved floral products.
1. Processing Time
All of our floral pieces are handmade to order.
Standard processing time is 2–7 business days before dispatch.
Custom or large-scale orders, including wedding florals or personalized designs, may require additional preparation time depending on design complexity. In such cases, timelines will be discussed or confirmed with the customer when applicable.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Areas
We currently offer shipping to the following regions:

Canada: Estimated 2–7 business days via Canada Post or equivalent carrier

United States: Estimated 7–12 business days (delivery time may vary by location)

International: Estimated 10–20 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance

Local Delivery: Available within Greater Vancouver by request (recommended for large or delicate arrangements)
Please note that delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather conditions, or events beyond our control are not the responsibility of La Farfalla Design.
3. Packaging & Fragile Nature Notice
Preserved and dried floral products are naturally delicate.
We take great care in packaging each order securely using protective boxes, padding, and cushioning materials to minimize movement during transit.
However, due to the nature of preserved botanicals:

Minor petal shedding

Slight displacement of floral elements

Presence of floral dust or particles inside the box
are considered normal and expected characteristics and do not qualify as damage or defects.
4. Perfectionism Disclaimer
Each floral arrangement is handcrafted using real preserved or dried materials.
Natural variations in shape, size, texture, and color tone are inherent and expected.
If you require flawless, factory-uniform appearance or are highly sensitive to natural variation, we kindly ask that you consider this carefully before placing an order.
5. Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives with significant damage (e.g. crushed arrangement or broken structural components), please follow the steps below:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

Provide a complete unboxing video, starting from the unopened package

Include your order number and clear photos

Email all materials to support@lafarfalla.ca
Due to shipping insurance and carrier claim requirements, requests submitted without a complete unboxing video cannot be processed, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country.
La Farfalla Design is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or customs-related issues once the shipment leaves Canada.
